Kulonprogo – Located at the Dharmais Camp Complex, Sentolo, Kulonprogo Regency, on April 02, 2019, Ridho Al-Hamdi was invited by Muhammadiyah Student Association (PR IPM) Chapter Madrasah Mu’allimin Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta to deliver a speech on the leadership training namely Taruna Melati I. The specific topic which delivered by Ridho is related to the internalization of leadership ulama‘s values in coping with the rapid changes of the world. This training is for santris (Muslim pupils) who is in the first grade of the senior high school. Because they will be the functionaries of intra-organizations, this kind of training is needed to motivate them to be having a good management in an organization. They are seemingly enthusiastic because a lot of questions from them.

Denpasar, Bali – Ridho Al-Hamdi as the representative of Jurnal Studi Pemerintahan was attending as one of the participants at the International Workshop for Journal Editors held by Kemenristekdikti Republic of Indonesia at Grand Mega Resort and SPA, Denpasar City, Province of Bali from 25 to 27 March 2019. There were at least 149 selected participants from various accredited Indonesian journals. During this time, distinguished speakers were coming such as the representative of Scopus, Web of Science, Publons, iThenticate, DOAJ, and COPE.

Solo, Central Java – Ridho Al-Hamdi was invited by Pimpinan Cabang Ikatan Mahasiswa Muhammadiyah (PC IMM) Sukoharjo Regency to give a speach on “#Pemilu2019, NKRI Mau Dibawa Kemana?” in 14 March 2019 at 15:30-18:00 at Auditorium Djasman Al-Kindi Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMS). A lot of students came to this interesting discussion. 14 March is also the IMM Birthday and 2019 is the 55th IMM Birthday. Beside Ridho, other speaker was Galang, lecturer of the Department of Law in UMS. Happy Anniversary 55 for IMM.

Jakarta – Ridho Al-Hamdi is appointed by the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Indonesia (KPU RI) as one of the selection committee members for the Regional Election Commission (Timsel KPU) in Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. There are five members in this committee including Ridho. This committee has only three months, between May and August 2018, to select good citizens who wanna be the commissioners for the Regional Election Commission of DIY for the period of 2018-2023. From more than 50 candidates, this committee decided to select ten candidates. Afterwards, these ten candidates are recommended to the KPU RI to be selected again which resulting five final commissioners. The committee job is done after it recommended the ten selected candidates to the KPU RI. Five selected candidates are Hamdan Kurniawan, Siti Ghoniyatun, Wawan Budiyanto, Ahmad Shidqi, and Moh. Zaenuri Ikhsan. Congratulation for these five commissioners. Enjoy your job.

In 24 November 2018, Ridho Al-Hamdi is invited by the DPC Partai Kebangkitan Bangsa Kabupaten Sleman to give a speach on campaign strategies in dealing with the 2019 election. Various PKB legislator candidates and functionaries were joining this session. The location of the event is in one of the villas in Kaliurang area, Sleman.

Ridho Al-Hamdi is invited by the Committee of Kamastu (Islamic Teaching each Saturday Evening) to speak and share his latest book entiteled Epistemologi Oksidentalisme at Muhammadiyah Building in Jl. Gedongkuning Yogyakarta, 22 February 2019 at 22:00 pm. Various participants are entusiastic to come to this event. Other speaker is coming, namely Iwan Setiawan, M.Pd.I, lecturer of UNISA Yogyakarta.
